Pictogram in context

Following the international success of her book Ost trifft West (East Meets West), Yang Liu has not taken up her Pictogram book series again after a long break with the theme ‘man meets woman’. It is a graphic journey with Yang Liu through various stations in life, projects from Beijing to London to New York, from questions of cultural identity to the question of interpersonal relationships. An exhibition on her new book is being shown in the basement during the conference.
