In this presentation, Elliott Earls breaks down the mechanics of his hybrid design practice. Earls talks money, sex, and power as he outlines a business model for aesthetic practice. He wrestles with the aesthetics of porn, the power of the id, and the nature of critique in design education. Earls uses his work and his role as Artist-in-Residence at Cranbrook Academy of Art as a kind of proof of concept.
