OpenType GX: Bringing font variations to OpenType

Since ATypI 2014, I and a few other people have independently proposed that OpenType should be extended to support runtime font variations ala TrueType GX and Adobe Multiple Master. In this session I will present what has been done in the last year and a half to move towards that vision.
