Born 27.8.1957, in Kiel Profession: industrial clerk 1980-1984: Attended Open University Courses: English, business management, special field marketing Since 1980: has worked in the field of type production and marketing, first for Dr. Hell in Kiel, since 1982 for URW 1985: Became the manager of the type section of URW in Hamburg 1990: Manages sales (type, software and systems) for URW 1992: Co-authored the book “Digitale Schriften” (Digital Type) from Dr. Peter Karow 1995: Self-employed shareholder and manager of URW++ in Hamburg 1998: Manager of missing.link, Kiel 2002: Manager of DTL Germany “My working carrier started off more by accident with the product “digital type” for the Digitset of the Fa. Hell. Since then digital type haunts me and for sure it’s probably going to stay that way for second half of my working life.”
